Tobiko = Toby & MarikoWe have been dating and traveling together since 2010. Tobiko Travels was created in 2019 to chronicle out adventures, travel tips and tricks with family, friends and strangers. We love experiencing the tiny homes of the world and look forward to more tiny traveling!

I’m a photographer specializing in beautiful landscape scenery. I travel often for my career and enjoy sharing my perspective of these experiences. I’ve become a huge advocate for the National Parks Service, along with State and City parks.

Hi! I’m Mariko! I live in Dallas with my partner in crime, Toby, and our two cats, Oliver and Gracey. I grew up in the SF Bay Area and hadn’t traveled much before I met Toby. Since then, we’ve been to countless cities and states and a couple countries together! I love traveling (duh!), learning and experiencing new things (i.e. languages & cultures) and I’m always up for a new adventure. I enjoy the challenge of planning trips to accommodate my photographer boyfriend and my own active unique expereience seeking lifestyle.
Favorite Food: Potatoes (any style), fresh fruit (except melon)
Travel Bucket List: SE Asia (particularly Thailand & Cambodia)
Language I want to learn: Italian & Ukrainian (working on the latter)
